Beale Memorial Library is the largest Bakersfield Public Library.  Located downtown on Truxtun; Beale library has two floors, in which they house a special collection of Kern County History, Maps, Genealogy, and a small auditorium.  Beale library always has authors, readings, and activities for kids, teens and adults.  To find out more information on Beale Memorial Library check out their website.
