I love cruising the aisles of World Market. There you can experience nicknacks from around the World. I always enjoy learning something new during my shopping experience. And I appreciate the sounds of world music beating down the aisles. They have something for every room in your house. My husband loves the Ginger Beer, and I’ve been experimenting with the Tandoori marinade. I also buy my wonderful Geranium Meyer’s Cleaning Products there. World Market is located at 9240 Rosedale Hwy.

In Your Dreams is a nostalgic haven. This consignment store is filled with clothes, antiques, and a lot of throwbacks. They even have an old Hollywood shrine, with a life size cut out of one of my favorite actors, James Dean. I think he enjoys flirting with me with those piercing eyes. ☺ When I shop here I get side tracked because there are so many unusual finds. I love the vintage clothes, and I want to know who consigns all the cool jeans from the 80’s? I bought a pair of Chic, Gloria Vanderbilt, and Lee’s, in perfect condition and a perfect fit! Last Friday I went to the 1612 City Loft preview Downtown and I must say I felt like I was in NYC. Honestly!! Excitement, energy and music filled the streets as crowds strolled between Metro and the Loft Preview. There was this unbelievable buzz about the attraction of this new urban development. It was nice strolling through the constructed structure holding my husbands hand trying to imagine how nice it would be to call this gorgeous, chic, green pad home. 1612 Lofts located at 19th and Eye St.
